A Microsoft hivatalosan is bejelentette a Windows Mobile operációs rendszer 6.5 verzióját. Ezzel párhuzamosan pedig a HTC is bejelentette, hogy az általa gyártott PDA mobilok -többek között a HTC Touch Pro, Touch Pro2, HTC Touch 2 és a HTC Touch Diamond valamint HTC Diamond 2- WinMo 6.5 frissítést kapnak majd, akárcsak a most kijövő HTC HD2.
